Bio:
Louis Vuitton was founded in Paris in 1854 by Louis Vuitton (1821–1892), who specialised in the manufacture of travel trunks. In 1896, his son Georges Vuitton introduced the distinctive monogram featuring the LV initials and geometric floral motifs. The pattern became a defining signature of the company and has since been used on bags, trunks and travel accessories.
