Bio:
The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in Saxony in 1710 and was the first European manufacturer of hard-paste porcelain. The manufactory achieved international recognition for its technical craftsmanship, hand-painted decoration and extensive repertoire of floral, figural and relief designs. Its distinctive crossed swords were introduced as the manufactory’s mark in the 1720s and are among the oldest continuously used trademarks in Europe.
