Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor, silversmith and designer, born in Godhavn, Greenland. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and established his own workshop in 1918. Andersen became particularly known for his works in pewter, bronze and Disko metal, as well as his distinctive design language incorporating classical and sculptural elements.
