Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Blue Fluted was the factory’s first pattern and was assigned pattern number 1. Its distinctive blue decoration on fluted porcelain has been central to the factory’s production since its foundation and has become one of the most recognisable Danish porcelain services.
