Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Blue Fluted was the factory’s first pattern and was assigned pattern number 1. The hand-painted blue pattern on fluted porcelain has been central to the factory’s production since its foundation and has become one of the most recognisable Danish porcelain services.
