Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Around 1900, the factory’s porcelain reflected the Art Nouveau movement through naturalistic floral and botanical motifs, subtle colours and refined relief decoration. The artistic porcelain from this period is now a distinctive part of Royal Copenhagen’s historic production.
