Bio:
Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) was one of Denmark’s most important architects and designers and a central figure in Danish modernism. His work encompassed architecture, furniture, textiles, lighting and functional objects, consistently characterised by an interest in function, proportion and clean lines. His cutlery is a distinctive example of his uncompromising modern design language and has achieved the status of a classic of Danish design.
