Bio:
Simon Gate (1883–1945) was one of Sweden’s most influential glass designers and artists. He joined Orrefors in 1916 and played a pivotal role in establishing the glassworks' international reputation through his elegant designs and pioneering engraved glass techniques. His works are represented in museum collections worldwide and are regarded as milestones of Swedish glass art.
