Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory and is one of Denmark's most significant porcelain manufacturers. The factory is renowned for its high level of craftsmanship and characteristic hand-decorated porcelain. During the first half of the 20th century, Royal Copenhagen produced a wide range of decorative dishes and figurines, often combining modelled animal motifs with the factory's distinctive blue underglaze decoration.
