Bio:
Aldo Londi (1911–2003) was an Italian ceramicist and designer who became artistic director of Bitossi in Montelupo Fiorentino in 1946. He was renowned for his experimental approach to ceramic surfaces, glazes and decorative techniques and created numerous distinctive designs for the company over several decades. Londi’s sculptural and decorative ceramics are now highly sought after by collectors of Italian design.
