Marlborough Royal Petal, set of six teacups with matching saucers.

Classic English porcelain tea service comprising six teacups with matching saucers. Decorated with the Royal Petal pattern in pink and gilt on an ivory-coloured porcelain body.

Origin: England.

Dimensions: Cup H. 6 cm, D. 12 cm. Saucer D. 15 cm.
Period: Circa 1930s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
W.H. Grindley & Co. was founded in 1880 in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, by William Harry Grindley (1859–1926). The company became renowned for producing high-quality porcelain and earthenware tableware, supplying both the British market and overseas export markets. Throughout the first half of the 20th century, Grindley introduced numerous successful dinnerware patterns, many of which remain highly sought after by collectors of English ceramics today.
