Bio:
Hildegard Falk (1922–1998) was a German-Swedish painter and illustrator educated at the academies of fine arts in Leipzig and Vienna. After the Second World War she settled in Sweden, where she continued her artistic education in Malmö and developed a distinctive style centred on landscapes, harbour scenes, historic buildings, horses, and children at play. Working in oil, watercolour, and printmaking, she exhibited extensively throughout Sweden and is represented in several Swedish museums and public collections.
