Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Finnish-Swedish ceramic artist, sculptor and designer. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955 and is considered one of the leading figures in Scandinavian ceramics. His work is celebrated for its organic forms, refined glazes and modern aesthetic, which had a lasting influence on Nordic design.
