Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish-Finnish ceramic artist and designer regarded as one of the most influential Scandinavian ceramicists of the twentieth century. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 to 1955 and created numerous stoneware series that remain highly sought after by collectors today. His work is celebrated for its organic forms, refined glazes, and timeless Nordic design language.
