Bio:
Hjördis Oldfors (1920–2011) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. She joined Upsala Ekeby in 1953 and became one of the company’s leading designers, recognised for her modernist forms, textured decoration and series such as Granit, which combined sculptural simplicity with distinctive glaze character.
