Bio:
The Zsolnay factory was founded in 1853 in Pécs, Hungary, and gained international recognition under Vilmos Zsolnay (1828–1900). The factory is especially known for its innovative eosin glaze, developed in the late 19th century, which creates a metallic, iridescent surface. Zsolnay was a key contributor to the Art Nouveau movement and produced both artistic ceramics and high-quality architectural elements.
