Bio:
Kai Nielsen (1882–1924) was a Danish sculptor known for his sensual and classically inspired figures. He worked in stone, bronze and ceramics and collaborated with Ipsens Enke, where his sculptures were translated into porcelain and ceramic pieces. Nielsen is regarded today as one of the significant Danish sculptors of the early twentieth century.
