Large angular stoneware vase with a distinctive rectangular form and softly rounded corners. Decorated with flowing glaze in warm brown and copper tones, deepening into darker hues toward the base. A bold and decorative example of Stålhane’s work in larger formats.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was one of Sweden’s most important ceramic designers and worked for Rörstrand from 1939. He was known for his elegant and often architectural forms combined with advanced glaze techniques. Stålhane developed a wide range of distinctive glazes and worked in both production and unique studio pieces, making his work highly sought after among collectors worldwide.
