Bio:
Timo Sarpaneva (1926–2006) was one of Finland’s most influential designers and a key figure in modern Scandinavian glass design. Working closely with Iittala, he created a number of iconic series that combined technical innovation with artistic expression. His work is represented in major museums worldwide and is regarded as a significant contribution to 20th-century design.
