Description:

Porcelain figurine from Bing and Grondahl. Depicting Johann Gutenberg (1397-1468), who invented the art of printing, or simply put, the machine that could mass-produce printed matter and books. Hence this figurine, which was produced in a small edition of 50 pieces. for the Danish Typographers' Association. The figurine was used as an honorary gift from the association.
This figurine is 24 cm tall and appears in perfect condition. Factory first production. No damage or repairs. Factory stamp on the bottom and engraved unknown artist signature EJ. Model number 2438.
