Bio:
Karl Hansen Reistrup (1847–1913) was a Danish ceramicist, sculptor and artist associated with the Kähler workshop in Næstved. He is known for his naturalistic animal figures and relief works, often inspired by nature and classical sculpture. His works for Kähler in the late 19th century are considered among the most artistically significant productions of the factory.
