Royal Copenhagen Christmas Joy, set of four plates.
Set of four porcelain plates from Royal Copenhagen in the Christmas Joy pattern, model 622. The plates are decorated with a colourful border featuring garlands, stars and small ornamental motifs in green and red tones surrounding a white centre. The series was produced in the late twentieth century and executed in classic Royal Copenhagen porcelain with a finely glazed surface and precise decoration.

Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. The factory quickly gained international recognition for its high-quality hand-painted porcelain. Throughout the twentieth century Royal Copenhagen developed numerous decorative series for both everyday use and special occasions, including festive Christmas-themed patterns that combine traditional porcelain craftsmanship with colourful seasonal motifs.
