Hand-painted porcelain pitcher decorated with the classic blue fluted pattern in cobalt underglaze. The form features a fluted body, shaped handle with relief decoration and wide pouring spout. Marked underneath with the Royal Copenhagen factory mark. Factory mark cancelled with one incised line. Model 1/450.

Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. The factory quickly became renowned for its high-quality hand-painted porcelain.
