Bio:
Herend Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1826 in the town of Herend, Hungary. The factory gained international recognition at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851 and soon became a supplier to European royal courts and aristocracy. Its production is distinguished by fine hand-painted decoration, exceptional technical quality, and classical forms, and Herend remains one of Europe’s most esteemed porcelain manufacturers.
