Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a key figure in Swedish ceramics and played a major role in shaping Rörstrand’s artistic direction during the mid-20th century. In addition to larger sculptural works, he produced miniature forms in which proportion, glaze, and surface expression are distilled into a compact and elegant format.
