Set comprising two vases in glazed porcelain with integrated handles and hand-painted underglaze decoration in Art Nouveau style. The decoration features floral and berry motifs in subdued blue, green and pink tones. Models 173/29 and 288/29.

Around the 1910s, Royal Copenhagen continued to develop the Art Nouveau tradition, characterised by organic forms, flowing lines and nature-inspired decoration. Vases with integrated handles are typical of the period and reflect the ambition to unite function and ornament in a harmonious whole, executed with a high level of craftsmanship.
