Description:

Venus, the goddess of love, preparing for or rising from a bath. Created by the French sculptor Étienne-Maurice Falconets in 1767. The figure is often used as a garden figure and in smaller living room-friendly versions. Has been made in both stone, marble, ceramics, plaster and bronze for more than 250 years. This figure was made in plaster probably in the mid-20th century. It appears in good condition without damage or repairs. 25 cm high.
