Hand-made sculptural stoneware vase with a strong brutalist form and experimental glaze in blue, white and earthy tones. The three openings create an architectural expression typical of Stålhane’s Designhuset period.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was one of Sweden’s most important ceramic artists. After a long career at Rörstrand, he founded his own studio, Designhuset, in 1973, where he explored sculptural forms and experimental glazes.
