Bio:
Antoni Marian Zawadzki (1916–1995) was one of the leading designers at Tilgmans Keramik. Working mainly in chamotte, he became known for his incised or modelled motifs of birds, animals and fantastical creatures, often paired with bold colours and a raw textured surface. His pieces—especially the large floor vases—are highly sought after today for their distinctive 1960s artistic character.
