Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was one of the leading ceramic designers in the Nordic region and worked for several major workshops, including Nymölle. During the 1960s and 70s, Nylund explored chamotte to create a distinctly raw surface that highlighted the tactile nature of the clay. These pieces were produced in limited numbers and are highly collectible today.
