Bio:
Paul Kedelv (1917–1990) was an influential Swedish glass designer. He began as a student at Orrefors in 1931 under Simon Gate and Edward Hald, later becoming one of Flygfors’ most significant designers. At Flygfors (1949–1956), he developed the iconic “Coquille” forms and refined advanced overlay-glass techniques. From 1956 to 1977 he worked at Reijmyre glassworks, and he also designed for Nybrofabrikken in Fröseke and Fåglaviks glassworks. His pieces are highly regarded today for their craftsmanship, sculptural presence, and distinctive layered colour effects.
