Elegant “Coquille” form in layered art glass with pink to light violet colouration, a white intermediate layer, and clear outer casing. The tall, sweeping, leaf-like silhouette is typical of Kedelv’s most organic and sculptural designs.

Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear.
Bio:
Paul Kedelv (1917–1990) was an influential Swedish glass designer. He began his training in 1931 at Orrefors under Simon Gate and Edward Hald, gaining a strong artistic and technical foundation. From 1949 to 1956 he worked at Flygfors glassworks, where he developed the iconic “Coquille” series, known for its layered colours, soft lines, and organic silhouettes. Between 1956 and 1977 he worked at Reijmyre glassworks, and he also designed for Nybrofabrikken in Fröseke and Fåglaviks glassworks. Today, Kedelv’s works are highly sought after for their sculptural character, colour depth, and exceptional craftsmanship.
