Bio:
Marianne Starck (1938–2007) was a key designer at Michael Andersen & Sons, where she shaped numerous landmark models from the mid-1950s onward. Her work ranges from graphic relief decoration to advanced iridescent and metallic glazes that helped establish the company’s international reputation. Starck’s design language merges Scandinavian modernism with bold surface experimentation, and many of her large vases – including models in the 5703 series – are now highly sought after by collectors.
