Organically shaped stoneware bowl with a softly rounded rim and a warm brown glaze with subtle beige and amber tones. A refined example of Saxbo’s characteristic balance of simplicity and sophisticated glaze work.

Bio:
Erik Rahr (1902–1981) was a Danish ceramicist associated with the Saxbo studio under Nathalie Krebs. Active from 1929 to 1968, Saxbo became renowned for its pure Scandinavian aesthetics, technical excellence, and subtle glazes in earthy tones. Today, Saxbo pieces are highly sought after and represented in major museum collections.
