Bio:
Peter Ilsted was one of Denmark’s foremost artists of serene interior scenes around 1900, closely associated with Vilhelm Hammershøi and Carl Holsøe. He was celebrated for his masterful mezzotints, where light is treated with meditative precision. His works are held in major museum collections including the SMK Copenhagen.
