Bio:
Sven Harald Ahlgren was a Swedish modernist educated at Tekniska skolan and Ollers målarskola in Stockholm. He exhibited actively in the 1950s and 60s, including at Holmquists konstsalong and the annual exhibitions of Sveriges Allmänna Konstförening. His work spans figurative interiors and landscapes, characterised by strong colour sensibility and rhythmic composition.
