Birthe Kronkvist (b. 1946) is a Danish visual artist who has worked with painting, graphic art, and linocuts. She has developed her use of color from the monochrome to the vibrant, and her expressive imagery often takes a committed stance on behalf of the outcasts, the powerless, and the different. In the 1990s, she also expanded her practice into installation art.
