Bio:
Gerd Bøgelund (1923–1987) was a Danish ceramicist and designer, trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. She joined Royal Copenhagen in the 1940s and over several decades created both sculptural and functional works, often characterized by simple forms, relief decorations, and earthy glazes. Her work bridges traditional craftsmanship and modernist aesthetics, and today her pieces are highly sought after by collectors.
