Bio
Kähler Ceramics was founded in Næstved in 1839 and developed during the late 19th and first half of the 20th century into one of Denmark’s most prominent ceramic workshops. The manufactory became renowned for its experimental glazes, artistic collaborations, and its ability to merge craftsmanship with artistic innovation. In the 1930s, Kähler created a range of decorative works in which colorful glazing and lush ornamentation reflected the functional yet aesthetically expressive design language of the era.
