Paul Gustav Fischer (July 22, 1860, in Copenhagen – January 5, 1934, in Gentofte) was a Danish painter. Fischer built a career as an artist depicting city life in Copenhagen. He earned the nickname "postcard painter" because he primarily portrayed street life and especially women.
