Item no.:361330
Description:
Height 20 cm.Opaline glass emerges in Franche in the early 1800s, reaching its greatest reach in the middle of this period.
The glass itself is in the family with the famous crystal glass, which makes it translucent, despite its added color.
Most often opal glass is used for business cards bowls, small decanters, trays and liqueur glasses. Figurines like this are extremely rare.
This figure is from 1880-1890 and is blown in a mold.
