Bird figurine of earthenware / stoneware pelican decorated in polychrome colours, Unique Piece signed KK 1935 H: 29 cm Knud Kyhn Copenhagen Stoneware. In nice and mint condition
Knud Kyhn (1880-1969): painter and sculptor, Worked at Royal Copenhagen Factory most of his working life in periods: 1903-1908; 1923-1932 and free lance more and less from 1936- 1968. In between he worked at Herman A Kahler, Kaehler, Naestved 1918-1924 and Bing & Grondahl 1910-1914 and Bing & Groendahl 1933-1935. Together with his wife Julie Bloch, he had a small ceramic workshop in Farum North of Copenhagen, where he and Julie created and sold art pottery in their own name signing it FK = Farum Keramik
