Wheel-thrown stoneware vase with an elegant cylindrical body and gently flared neck, covered in a delicate hare’s-fur glaze in soft natural tones.

Condition: Excellent condition with minimal signs of use. Signed to the underside by Berndt Friberg.
Bio:
Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was one of Scandinavia’s most refined ceramicists, working at Gustavsberg from the 1930s onward. Celebrated for his perfectionist forms and subtle sang-de-boeuf and hare’s-fur glazes, his works today represent the pinnacle of Swedish modernist ceramics.
