Here you are offered an oil on canvas. Signed J. Maggs for John Charles Maggs (1819-1896) , a listed british artist. Titled "By one english farm" classic mid 19 c. british landscape with farm, a very charming oil.

Condition report : The oil is in a very good condition, would benefit from a clean. The antique gold gilded wooden frame with ornaments is in a very good condition.

Size without the frame: 40 cm. x 55 ½ cm. The frame is 8 ½ cm. wide.
