Georg Jensen silver, Louvre bowl in a large version.

This bowl was designed in 1912 by Georg Jensen himself and in 1914 The Louvre Museum in Paris bought one for their exhibition. Therefore this bowl is called the Louvre bowl.

This was produced between 1915 and 1925 and is therefore and early piece.

Design number 19B.

Diameter 23.2 cm., height 19.0 cm.

Very well kept condition with no engravings.
