Pair of very beautiful Empire candlesticks in silver.
Stamped: CT - Altonas cote of arms 1822.
Christian Tormählen - Altona 1822.
I apprenticed 1804-09 in Hamburg with I.F.Schröder. He takes over his father's business in Altona 7.3.1818 and marries the same year.2.marriage 1824 with 4 children.He died in 1863.
Traces of wear in the form of small dents and slight skew on one stick. Overall very fine condition.
