Description:
Height 8-9 cm.Christian the 8th is produced at both Holmegaard Glassworks, Fyens Glasværk and Kastrup Glasværk from 1867 until World War II.
It is one of the largest Danish series of glassware. It contains 18 different sizes.
Today, it is impossible to separate the individual glassworks' glass from each other.
The glass is named after the last sovereigning Danish king, Christian the 8th. He ruled from 1839 to 1848, when Denmark was transformed from an absolute kingdom to a democracy.
