Description:

Height 6 cm.
Length 8 cm.
Very rare Fire Pot elephant designed by Jeanne Grut for Royal Copenhagen.
Fire Pot is originally made in co-operation with Grethe Meyer in the 1970'is.

Jeanne Grut designed a large number of modern figures in the 1970s and 1980s, among other things. the big blue fish, a black swan, a couple of dogs and the well-known musk oxen in chamotte.

This elephant was originally made in faience and decorated as it carried a cover over it.

This version in Fire Pot is very likely made for an exhibition at Royal Copenhagen's flagship store in the 1980s, in a strong limited number. It has no model number and must be considered as unique production

It is intended for baking bread - original recipe may be included.
