Bio:
Stig Lindberg (1916–1982) was a Swedish ceramicist, glass artist and designer. He came to Gustavsberg in 1937 as a pupil of Wilhelm Kåge and served two periods as the factory’s artistic director until 1980. He is known for his playful modernism in services such as Berså and Spisa Ribb, unique stoneware and decorative faience.
