Bio:
Monica Bratt (1913–1961) was a Swedish glass artist and designer, born in Stockholm. She worked at Reijmyre glassworks from 1937 to 1958 and became known for her simple, clean forms and monochrome glass in ruby red, emerald green and Venetian blue. She helped make ruby red glass a signature of Reijmyre and received a Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale in 1952.
